You know your mission is worth being a part of. You’ve poured your heart and soul into it and shared it with others, and consistently see the outcomes of your effort unfold.

Buuut you’ve got too many hands-on projects creating real change in your community… writing words that will get others to join you? You ain’t got time for that!

You’re reaching others in your day-to-day, but you want to

  • Strategically show up in their inboxes

  • Connect with them through your website

  • Create lasting relationships

…while growing and making an impact.

Rest assured, friend!

That’s why I’m here.

I’m Amanda Nicholson. I write the words nonprofits need to increase funds and impact.

I give reformers just like you the strategy of how to get others to join your cause — all while you spend your time fulfilling the purpose of your organization, without spending hours mulling over your copy.

With an unshakeable passion for progress and a list of satisfied clients, I have the skills to craft an individualized message that will have people buzzing and joining hands with you!

My mission: To make a positive impact through the power of carefully crafted words and customized strategy.

How it all started...

I was a special educator on maternity leave, anxious about the lack of childcare and the looming return-to-work date. With a 2-month-old on the boob, I started Googling things like, “How to make money on maternity leave.”

Pop! An ad for a copywriting course.

I’d always dreamed of being a writer - especially if I can write for people and causes I care about.

I dove headfirst into consuming and executing everything I could get my eyes on about copywriting. I’d just discovered my dream!

As time went on and obstacles popped up, I knew I couldn’t go back to being a teacher... no matter how much I wanted the letters M.Ed behind my name.

Introducing: Amanda Nicholson, Copywriter.

I wanted the feeling of making the world more equitable and accessible - the reason I went into special education in the first place. I knew mission-driven leaders like yourself were “my” people.  Hence, the classifier that follows my last name!

Words have the power to transform communities. Stories have the power to transform hearts.

I mix conversion copywriting and heart-centered storytelling with your brand voice and mission. Take my organization and analytical skills, pair them with my need to do good (there’s that enneagram 1 talking!) and knack for understanding human behavior, and we'll turn idle supporters into ambassadors for your mission.

Over the past 4 years, I’ve built lasting relationships with my clients and helped them increase measurable results on their email campaigns, web pages, and more.
